This cake was truly a challenge, but I enjoy a challenge. I had the cake done a week early, but when I took it out of the freezer the day of the wedding and the fondant melted right off the cake. So I have learned how to defrost a cake in the middle of a New Mexico summer. At 3pm I ripped the fondant off and started over knowing the reception was at 7pm. Lucky for me I had some pre-made items that saved the cake. With more attention to detail this cake could be even more fabulous.

This wedding cake is beautiful and that is also a cool photo how you can see the people in the background thru the "Clean" windows. That was such a wonderful party and I am so happy that the cake turned out in the end.
